Crispy Chicken Flautas Everyone Will Love

Ingredients:

  • 1 Rotisserie Chicken
  • 12 Corn Tortillas
  • 1/2 cup Muenster Cheese

Salsa

  • 4 Roma Tomatoes
  • 2 Serrano Peppers
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tsp Chicken Seasoning Powder
  • 1/2 Onion, sliced
  • Shredded Lettuce, for serving
  • Queso Fresco, for serving

Preparation:

  1. Shred the chicken and set aside.
  2. For the sauce, boil the tomatoes and serrano peppers. Once cooked, blend them with the garlic cloves and chicken seasoning powder.
  3. In a hot skillet, add a tablespoon of oil and sauté the sliced onion. Add the sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  4. For the flautas, warm the tortillas and fill them with the shredded chicken and grated cheese. Roll the tortillas tightly to form flautas and fry until golden brown.
  5. Serve with shredded lettuce, white onion, sauce, and queso fresco.
