Crispy Chicken Flautas Everyone Will Love
Ingredients:
- 1 Rotisserie Chicken
- 12 Corn Tortillas
- 1/2 cup Muenster Cheese
Salsa
- 4 Roma Tomatoes
- 2 Serrano Peppers
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1 tsp Chicken Seasoning Powder
- 1/2 Onion, sliced
- Shredded Lettuce, for serving
- Queso Fresco, for serving
Preparation:
- Shred the chicken and set aside.
- For the sauce, boil the tomatoes and serrano peppers. Once cooked, blend them with the garlic cloves and chicken seasoning powder.
- In a hot skillet, add a tablespoon of oil and sauté the sliced onion. Add the sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For the flautas, warm the tortillas and fill them with the shredded chicken and grated cheese. Roll the tortillas tightly to form flautas and fry until golden brown.
- Serve with shredded lettuce, white onion, sauce, and queso fresco.
