SPICY SAUCY CHICKEN THIGHS

Explosive Flavor: Spicy Saucy Chicken Thigh Recipe

Ingredients:

CHICKEN

  • 2 Lbs. bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp avocado or olive oil.
  • Pinches of slat & Pepper
  • 1 tbs chipotle powder
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
  • 1 tbsp onion powder

SPICY SAUCE

  • 2 adobo chipotle peppers
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 2 Limes (Juice) 
  • 3 Tbsp Sour Cream
  • 1 Tbsp Mayo
  • 1/2 tbsp chipotle powder
  • And salt and Pepper to taste

Preparation:

1. Add 2 lbs of bone-in skin-on chicken thighs to a bowl. Drizzle with avocado or olive oil. Season with a couple pinches salt, pepper, chipotle powder, smoked paprika,  dried thyme, and  onion powder.
2. Massage it in really well, then let it sit and soak in the flavors for 2-6 hours.
3. Pop chicken in the air fryer and bake in the oven at 420F for 25 minutes until skin is crispy. 
5. For the sauce, process the adobo chipotle peppers, garlic clove, lime juice, sour cream, mayo, chipotle powder, salt and pepper. Taste and adjust as you wish!
6. Plate the chicken, top with fresh cilantro, add the sauce, and enjoy!
