Ingredients:
- 2 corns
- 2 potatoes
- 1/4 chopped onion
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup table cream
- For garnish: cooked corn kernels
Preparation:
- Cut the corn and potatoes into pieces.
- In a skillet, brown the bacon along with the onion. Once golden, add the corn and potatoes.
- Add the garlic, salt, and chicken broth. Let it boil for 20 minutes or until the potatoes are soft.
- Blend the mixture with the thyme and adjust the salt.
- In the same skillet, melt a small piece of butter and add a teaspoon of flour; cook until the flour is lightly browned.
- Pour the blended mixture into the skillet. Once it comes to a boil, add the table cream and cook for 5 more minutes.
