Remember when you used to have this much energy? Don't you miss those days? I look at kids running through the grocery store aisles of Fiesta after school and they have so much energy. It isn't fair. Where did it all go?

Of course there can be a number of medical reasons for declining energy, it also has a lot to do with what you eat (and what you don't eat).

Self.com has done it again with their list of what to eat for more energy. They have a list of the top 5 energy-boosting foods. Whether it's 6am or 6pm, we are all in need of extra energy, right?

For example (and I think we all know this by now), stay away from sugar. It will give you a quick boost of energy, but then you'll hit a serious low with even less energy than you started with!

Hints for a few energy-boosting foods: berries, lentils and popcorn. Yes, popcorn!
